Attracting more than 22,000 visiting locals and tourists, the 4th Annual Gold Coast Multicultural Festival will showcase the best representation of Gold Coast’s thriving cultural diversity through its finest international food, art, craft, multicultural information, music and dance. The Gold Coast Multicultural Festival seeks to promote better awareness, understanding and respect between different cultural groups. The festival also support celebrations of place as well as promote a greater sense of community and belonging. Moreover, the Festival intends to unite all cultures that exists side by side on the Gold Coast.
Happening on 18 September 2011 at Bundall, the Gold Coast Multicultural Festival will showcase up to 60 stalls and various stages for entertainment, including food stalls - International Food Festival, international music, dance, poetry and reading (story telling), multicultural films, youth-oriented events, promotional & community stalls, art & craft stalls/ displays, interactive workshops, children's rides and fun activities. The festival will also feature several exciting programs and activities that will be held prior to the main event that includes ‘Fun & Diversity’. The Festival is a free for all event and features plenty of enjoyable family-friendly activities.
